Tell us a little bit about yourself (family, job, hobbies, interests, etc.).
Married for 15 years.
My job now is mom to 2 busy kids ages 8 and 11, but pre-kids I worked in pharmaceutical clinical trials.
I like scrapbooking, movies, and watching my kids do what they love (volleyball, swim, cello, drama, hockey, baseball!)

When did you first start training at CrossFit Urban Jungle and what was your first WOD? How was it?
April 2, 2014
I don’t remeber the first WOD but knew that I was going to die amd never recover from the soreness!

What was your athletic background before CF?
Not very athletic…gymnastics in middle school and I wasnt very good.

What is your kryptonite?
Overhead squat

Your best ninja skill?
Complexes- I like the mental and physical work

What your favorite cheat meal?
Burger and fries

What sort of changes have you seen in your body, health and fitness since starting CrossFit?
Best change is no more back pain!! My body is tighter and stronger. My endurance or stamina has increased. I am more conscience of the foods I eat and try to make mostly good choices. (My food choices are the next piece to work on!). I can lift way more than when I started. I’m more flexible.

Please share with us any favorite CrossFit / CFUJ moments:
Our box is such a fun, friendly, supportive community. I love sweating with all of these folks. One moment that is my favorite was during a community WOD on a Saturday. I do NOT like to run and a run was the final part of our team WOD. I was losing steam quickly and the next thing I see is one of my teammates running with me even though she had already finished her run.
Any advice for people just getting started or new to CrossFit?
Give it a chance- there are so many different ways to exercise and be fit. Find the ones that work for you. CrossFit works for me because of the community at the box and the drive to compete with myself to make me better.

Something you might not know about me:
I do not like to cook.
